About Us

Rhea is a freshman at Boston University and intends on majoring in neuroscience. When she isn’t holed up in her room binge-reading novel after novel or rewatching Modern Family, she spends her time dancing, doing mini live concerts in her room, making tiktoks with her friends, and scrolling through twitter.

Angela is a freshman at St Andrews University, studying Chemistry and Physics. Her curiosity and desire to understand the universe has inevitably gravitated her towards the sciences. When she isn’t contemplating life and crying over the absurdities of existence, she can be found reading, listening to music, watching movies, writing, and playing the trumpet.

Noyna is a freshman at Barnard College of Columbia University and intends on majoring in Environment & Sustainability. Her interests vary from edible gardening to travelling around the world, but one common theme throughout is her passion for writing. A travel blogger since the age of 11, Noyna can always be found, lost in a book, playing the piano or starting nation-wide tree planting movements.

Et Cetera: talks

From fangirling about books to sharing our coping mechanisms for high school, this weekly podcast covers it all. Join these soon-to-be-nerdy-college-girls as they navigate through the ups and downs of daily life, and escape from their to-do lists through lively conversations and passionate rants. Whether it’s talking about the latest political event, crying over a Disney movie, or contemplating the existence of a fourth (and fifth, and sixth) dimension, we’ll keep you on your toes with a new topic every week :)

Striving towards answering the most fundamental questions about the complex universe and our place within it lies at the heart of Science. The forefront of scientific research and innovation is both an unnerving and exciting place to be, as we have to continually reconstruct our perceptions of the world. Yet, it is important that we keep pursuing knowledge in order to obtain personal fulfilment and enrich our society by driving progress.

There is no such thing as being “politically neutral”. Politics affects every aspect of our life- our choices, prejudices, judgements, and decisions. For many of us, political freedom is a privilege we take for granted. By delving into the complex power dynamics and the deep-seated socio-political issues ingrained within our society, we can use the power of our voice and advocate for the change we want to see.

Whether it is taking a stroll through a park or taking a deep breath, we are all connected to Gaia. The future of our planet is at stake and it is our responsibility to take action. The environmental movement is expanding to every corner of the planet and it is imperative that the youth are involved to protect our home. We can not go back to undo the damage, but we surely can change the future. It is in our hands!
